I hope it does tooo. I’m OK with the TARDIS not letting her in - there’s probably a key for a reason, though obviously it’s always open for the Doctor - I’m not sure if it let past companions in without a key. What’s really weird is that Clara knew that the TARDIS was conscious without being told.
